The Fan Orbit

The Fan Orbit was a 3D sports universe I built solo over eight weeks in early 2026. It combined daily picks, live game rooms, head-to-head challenges, a fan identity shaped by your behavior, and an earned-only in-app economy designed to never touch real money. I shipped it for around three hundred dollars in services and learned more about product development in those eight weeks than I had in years. The site is still live at thefanorbit.com, and a full retrospective on the work and what it taught me is below.

AI Editorial Systems

A suite of 8 custom AI workflow systems built for publishers and editorial teams: Archive Decay Recovery, Audio/Video SEO Conversion, Briefing Room Bot, House Style Engine, Freelance Operations Hub, Post-Publication Update Monitor, Performance Report Automation, and Pitch Scoring. Built using MindStudio, n8n, and Claude Code. Designed to eliminate administrative overhead so editors can focus on journalism. $0 additional headcount required for any system.
